We welcome applicants from all over the world. There is NO application fee and application can be made via the SUTD online system. Please check your application category (corresponding to the educational qualification you possess) from the table below and click on the corresponding link for information on the admissions requirements and procedures.

GUIDE TO APPLICATION PROCESS

    documentation where applicable (eg SAT/TOEFL/IELTS)
e: Provide personal particulars, testimonials and referee’s contact info Referee’s email and contact information. (For international applicants, please submit copies of testimonials and recommendation letters along with supporting documents)
f: Provide list of co-curricular activities and any other supplemental information. Optional: Scanned copies of co-curricular activities records, achievements and any other additional information, such as video links and portfolios.

h: Submit online application * Applicants applying with international qualifications are required to mail in the hardcopies of their supporting documents and online checklist (available for print upon submission).
Candidate Evaluation
  • Admission to the University is based on competition and merit. Applicants will be assessed on their academic standing along with other achievements vis-à -vis competition.
  • All shortlisted applicants will be required to answer a few profiling questions and to attend an interview with SUTD, either in-person, or via Skype (for applicants who are based overseas). This is to help us get to know you better and add textures to support your online application.


Students applying for the SUTD-SMU Dual Degree Programme in Technology and Management

Interested applicants should apply directly to SUTD via the standard application process, and will need to indicate on the online application form their intention to apply for the DDP. For students who have already applied and are offered a place in SUTD for AY2016 or later, they may indicate their interest to apply for the SUTD-SMU DDP by writing to the SUTD Admissions Office. The shortlisting and selection process will be managed jointly by SUTD and SMU.

Applicants with international qualifications are required to apply with actual/final results and SAT 1 English.
